BC Infrastructure Benefits

Established in 2018 by the provincial government, BC Infrastructure Benefits (BCIB) is a Crown corporation responsible for implementing the Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) on major public infrastructure projects in British Columbia. The company's mission is to build a skilled and diverse workforce while ensuring community benefits from public spending. BCIB acts as the employer for the skilled workforce on these projects, prioritizing the hiring of local residents, Indigenous peoples, women, apprentices, and other underrepresented groups to create lasting economic and social benefits for the province.
