Founded in 2020 by former Morgan Stanley veteran Caitlin Long, Avanti Financial Group is a Wyoming-chartered Special Purpose Depository Institution (SPDI). The company's mission is to provide regulated and compliant banking and custody services for digital assets like cryptocurrencies. Avanti aims to solve the problem of institutional custody and payment settlement for digital assets within the U.S. regulatory framework, offering services that were previously unavailable from traditional banks. It does not take on credit risk by lending and is required to hold 100% of its customer deposits in unhypothecated liquid assets.
