AMEDA - The Africa & Middle East Depositories Association

Established in April 2005, The Africa & Middle East Depositories Association (AMEDA) is a regional association of Central Securities Depositories (CSDs) in Africa and the Middle East. Its primary mission is to create a forum for its members to exchange information, share experiences, and collaborate on best practices. AMEDA works to promote the development of efficient, safe, and sound securities depository, clearing, and settlement systems across the region, aligning them with international standards to enhance cross-border investment and market integration.
