Founded in 2008 in Denmark, AltaPay is a payment service provider that specializes in creating a unified, omnichannel commerce solution for large-scale merchants. AltaPay was acquired by the Icelandic company Valitor in 2017, which was subsequently acquired by the global Fintech-as-a-Service provider Rapyd in 2021.
