All of Us

The All of Us Research Program is a historic, large-scale effort to gather health data from one million or more people living in the United States. Launched nationally in 2018 as part of the Precision Medicine Initiative, its mission is to accelerate health research and enable individualized prevention, treatment, and care. By collecting a wide range of data including electronic health records, survey responses, physical measurements, and biosamples (blood, urine, and saliva), the program aims to create a comprehensive resource for researchers to better understand how biology, lifestyle, and environment affect health and disease. The program places a strong emphasis on recruiting a diverse participant base to ensure that medical research benefits everyone.
