Akouba

Originally founded in 2014 and based in Chicago, Akouba was a fintech company that developed a cloud-based, white-label platform to help financial institutions, such as banks and credit unions, streamline their commercial and small business lending processes. The platform digitized the entire loan application, underwriting, and approval workflow, reducing processing time from weeks to days. In November 2018, Akouba was acquired by Velocity Solutions, LLC. The Akouba platform has since been integrated into Velocity Solutions' product suite, expanding its offerings to include a comprehensive digital solution for consumer and business account opening and loan origination.
