VeChainThor

The VeChain Foundation is the non-profit entity responsible for the development and governance of the VeChainThor public blockchain. Launched in 2015 by Sunny Lu, a former CIO of Louis Vuitton China, VeChain aims to connect blockchain technology with the real world by providing a robust infrastructure for businesses to build decentralized applications and manage their data. The VeChainThor blockchain utilizes a two-token model (VET and VTHO) and a Proof-of-Authority (PoA) consensus mechanism, focusing on enterprise solutions in areas like supply chain management, sustainability, carbon footprint tracking, and anti-counterfeiting.
