Founded in 1994 by a decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UZEX) has become the leading and most liquid commodity exchange in the region. Its mission is to create a transparent and efficient marketplace for a wide range of commodities, ensuring fair price formation through electronic trading mechanisms. In addition to its core commodity exchange services, UZEX operates platforms for public and corporate procurement, as well as specialized online auctions for items like vehicle license plates and mobile numbers, playing a pivotal role in the economic infrastructure of Uzbekistan.
