Symbid (Acquired by SeedBlink)

Founded in 2011 in the Netherlands, Symbid was one of the first equity crowdfunding platforms in the world, enabling startups and growing companies to raise capital from a crowd of investors. In July 2022, Symbid was acquired by the Romanian-based investment platform SeedBlink. Following the acquisition, Symbid's operations, team, and portfolio were integrated into the SeedBlink ecosystem. The move was part of SeedBlink's strategy to consolidate its position in the European market and expand its reach into the Benelux region, combining Symbid's local expertise with SeedBlink's wider network and co-investment model. The original Symbid platform is no longer active, and all services are now offered under the SeedBlink brand.
