Self Directed

Self Directed is a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting participant-directed services. Its mission is to support individuals, particularly those with disabilities and the aging population, in having control over the services and supports they receive. The organization achieves this by offering technical assistance, training, and resources to states, managed care entities, financial management services providers, and other stakeholders to help them develop and improve self-direction programs. It does not provide direct financial or investment services to individuals but rather works on a systemic level to enable choice and control in publicly funded long-term services.
