Reed Business Information

Formerly a major division of Reed Elsevier (now RELX), Reed Business Information (RBI) was a leading global provider of B2B media, data services, and business information. Historically, it published a vast portfolio of trade magazines, directories, and online content for professionals in sectors such as finance, aviation, chemicals, and technology. Beginning in the late 2000s, RELX shifted its strategy to focus on data analytics and decision tools, leading to the divestment of most of RBI's traditional publishing assets. The remaining data-centric businesses were subsequently integrated into other RELX divisions, effectively ending the use of the Reed Business Information brand as a primary operating name.
