Founded in 1987 as the Northern California Community Loan Fund (NCCLF), the organization rebranded to Community Vision in 2019 to better reflect its expanding services and geographic reach. It is a certified non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that works to achieve economic and racial justice by providing capital and technical assistance to community-based organizations.
