New Mexico Educational Assistance Foundation

The New Mexico Educational Assistance Foundation (NMEAF) is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) student loan service company founded in 1981. Its mission is to provide access to and information about higher education to the citizens of New Mexico. NMEAF helps students and families navigate the complexities of financial aid by offering a range of services, including federal and private student loan servicing, financial literacy programs, default prevention counseling, and dedicated outreach to schools and communities across the state. The foundation is committed to being the primary source of information and assistance for post-secondary education in New Mexico.
