MVola

Launched in 2010 as a service of the telecom operator Telma, MVola was the first mobile money solution in Madagascar. In 2018, it evolved into a standalone entity, MVola S.A., a registered Electronic Money Institution (EME) regulated by the Central Bank of Madagascar and a subsidiary of the Axian group. The company's mission is to promote financial inclusion by providing accessible, secure, and affordable digital financial services to the Malagasy population, including money transfers, bill payments, merchant payments, and access to savings and credit solutions.
