Islamic Bank of Thailand

Established under the Islamic Bank of Thailand Act B.E. 2545 (2002), the Islamic Bank of Thailand is a state enterprise under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance. The bank's mission is to provide comprehensive and Shariah-compliant financial services to all customers, regardless of religion, operating on principles of fairness, transparency, and social responsibility. It avoids interest-based (Riba) transactions, instead using ethical profit-sharing and trade-based financing models for services like deposits, personal and business financing, and investments.
