InnBucks MicroBank Limited

InnBucks MicroBank Limited began as a customer rewards program for Simbisa Brands, a major fast-food restaurant operator in Africa. It evolved into a popular mobile money platform for sending, receiving, and paying for goods and services. In 2022, following a directive from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, the company ceased its initial operations and subsequently secured a deposit-taking microfinance banking license. It has since relaunched as a fully regulated microbank, focusing on financial inclusion by providing simple and low-cost banking solutions, including savings accounts and payment services, to the Zimbabwean population via its smartphone app.
