Hostplus

Established in 1987, Hostplus is an Australian industry superannuation fund created to manage the retirement savings of workers in the hospitality, tourism, and related industries. It has since grown to become a public offer fund, available to members from all industries and sectors. As an industry fund, it operates on a 'profit-to-member' basis, aiming to return profits to its members through lower fees and improved services rather than to external shareholders. Hostplus is widely known for its strong long-term investment performance, particularly in its default Balanced (MySuper) option, which has a significant allocation to unlisted assets like infrastructure, property, and private equity.
