GMI (Global Market Index Limited) has officially ceased operations and is now confirmed as CLOSED. The broker, founded in 2009 and registered in Vanuatu, has shown no recent activity on the platform. Both regulatory licenses held by GMI have become inactive: FSC Mauritius (No. C118023454) under the registered name Global Market Index Limited, and FSA St. Vincent & The Grenadines (No. 2763 LLC 2022) under Global Market Index LLC. The licenses are from low-tier jurisdictions (C and D grade), providing minimal investor protection. Prior to closure, users reported serious issues including inability to withdraw funds, prolonged withdrawal processing times, frequent trading system instability (chart freezing, slippage, requotes), and poor customer service. Traders are strongly advised not to deposit any funds with GMI and to seek legal counsel if they have outstanding funds that cannot be withdrawn.
