Glint's mission is to provide everyone with a reliable form of money, positioning gold as a viable alternative to traditional fiat currencies for saving and spending. Founded in 2015, the company enables clients to digitally buy and sell physically allocated gold, which is stored in a Brink's vault in Switzerland. Users can then spend the value of their gold holdings, or other currency balances, anywhere that accepts Mastercard. After entering administration in 2019, the company was successfully restructured and relaunched in 2020, continuing its operations and expanding its services.
