GFT Financial Limited

Founded in 1997 as Global Forex Trading (GFT), the company grew to become a major international online brokerage. It offered its proprietary trading platform, DealBook®, providing access to a wide range of financial markets, including foreign exchange, contracts for difference (CFDs), and financial spread betting. GFT was known for its charting technology and global presence with offices in major financial centers. In October 2013, the majority of GFT's business was acquired by GAIN Capital Holdings, Inc. (the parent company of FOREX.com), and its operations and client accounts were subsequently integrated into GAIN's infrastructure, effectively retiring the GFT brand.
