First Data Resources

Originally founded in 1971 as an information processing service for banks, First Data Corporation grew to become a global leader in the payment technology industry. The company specialized in merchant acquiring and processing, card issuer processing, and network services, powering millions of businesses worldwide with its point-of-sale systems (including the Clover platform) and e-commerce solutions. In July 2019, First Data was acquired by Fiserv, Inc. in a landmark deal, creating one of the world's largest payments and financial technology providers. The combined entity now offers a comprehensive suite of services ranging from digital banking solutions to merchant acquiring and payment processing.
