Founded in Beijing in 2013, F2Pool is one of the earliest cryptocurrency mining pools. It provides geographically distributed mining services for a global user base, allowing individual miners to pool their computational power to increase the probability of finding a block and earning rewards. The platform supports mining for over 40 different Proof-of-Work (PoW) cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum Classic (ETC), and is known for pioneering the PPS+ (Pay Per Share Plus) reward system.
