Esusu is a fintech company focused on financial inclusion for renters. Its mission is to dismantle barriers to housing and bridge the racial wealth gap by capturing rental payment data and reporting it to credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian), allowing tenants to establish and build their credit scores. Founded by Abbey Wemimo and Samir Goel, the company partners with property owners and managers to enroll their residents into the platform. In addition to credit reporting, Esusu also provides rent relief funds and financial literacy resources to help maintain housing stability.
