Drops

Founded in 2015 by Daniel Farkas and Mark Szulyovszky, Drops is a mobile-first language learning platform designed to make learning new languages feel like a game. The app focuses on teaching vocabulary through visually engaging, 5-minute lessons, covering over 50 different languages. Its methodology is built on the principle of spaced repetition and visually-aided learning to create strong word associations. In 2020, Drops was acquired by the global learning platform company Kahoot!, becoming part of its suite of educational applications while continuing to operate under its own brand.
