Diginex

Founded in 2017, Diginex aimed to bridge the gap between traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem by providing institutional-grade infrastructure and compliant services. The company went public on the Nasdaq in October 2020 through a SPAC merger and subsequently rebranded its entire group to EQONEX Group, with its primary offering being the EQONEX cryptocurrency exchange. Its ecosystem also included Digivault, an FCA-registered crypto custodian, and an asset management arm. Facing intense market competition and financial challenges, the company announced the closure of its exchange in August 2022 and filed for voluntary liquidation in Singapore in January 2023.
