Desert Community Bank

Founded in 1980 in Victorville, California, Desert Community Bank established itself as a key financial institution for the local communities of the Victor Valley, Barstow, and surrounding mountain areas. In 2007, it became a division of East West Bank, which allowed it to expand its services while maintaining its local focus and decision-making. The bank offered a comprehensive range of products including personal and business checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and treasury management services. In a significant transition, East West Bank sold its eight Desert Community Bank branches to Flagstar Bank, N.A., with the acquisition officially completed on March 11, 2024, integrating the bank's operations, employees, and customers into the Flagstar brand.
