Delwinds Insurance Acquisition Corp. was a publicly-traded special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), also known as a "blank check" company, sponsored by Delwinds Capital, LLC. Its business purpose was to raise capital through an initial public offering (IPO) in order to acquire or merge with an existing private company, thereby taking it public. The company focused on targeting businesses in the insurance and insurtech sectors. In September 2022, Delwinds completed its business combination with FOXO Technologies Inc., fulfilling its mission and ceasing to exist as an independent entity.
