Churchill Capital Corp IV

Churchill Capital Corp IV was a blank check company, also known as a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC), formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination with one or more businesses. The company was led by Chairman and CEO Michael Klein. It raised $2.07 billion in its July 2020 initial public offering (IPO). In July 2021, Churchill Capital Corp IV completed its high-profile business combination with Lucid Motors. Following the merger, the SPAC ceased to exist, and the combined entity was renamed Lucid Group, Inc., which now trades on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the ticker symbol "LCID".
