CCEC (Community Congress for Economic Change) Credit Union is a values-based financial institution dedicated to community economic development. Established in 1976 by a coalition of community groups in Vancouver, its mandate is to serve its members and support organizations committed to the social and economic health of the community. As a member-owned co-operative, it focuses on providing banking services to individuals, co-ops, non-profits, and small businesses, often those who may not be served by traditional banks, while promoting principles of social justice and environmental sustainability.
