BBVA USA is a commercial bank that offers its products and services, such as consumer loans, mortgages, insurance, and wealth management. The bank also provides small business administration loans, merchant processing, home equity lines and loans, securities brokerage, mutual funds, and annuities. It operates through consumer and commercial banking, corporate and investment banking, and treasury segments. The bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA). Its lending portfolio comprises small business lines of credit, business term loans, commercial real estate loans, and debt. Harry B. Brock Jr. established the bank in Birmingham, Alabama in 1964.
