They are also committed to transparent and fair sustainable financial and financial markets well-being in the Netherlands. AFM promotes the fair and conscientious provision of financial services to consumers and private investors, as well as professional and semi-professional parties. The authority aim is to improve consumers and companies confidence in the financial markets, both in the Netherlands and abroad. AFM was founded in March 2002 and is headquartered in Amsterdam, North-Holland, Netherlands.
