Alluo was a non-custodial platform that aimed to bridge the gap between traditional finance and the world of DeFi. Its mission was to make it easy for anyone to grow their money by connecting their digital wallet to high-yield, professionally managed DeFi strategies. The protocol worked by pooling customer deposits and deploying them across a portfolio of established and vetted DeFi protocols (like Aave and Curve) to generate returns. In late 2023, the team announced that the protocol would be winding down its operations due to market conditions and other challenges, instructing all users to withdraw their funds.
