Agora Lending, LLC was a San Francisco-based direct-to-consumer mortgage lender that operated a digital platform to streamline the home loan application and approval process. Founded with a mission to leverage technology to offer lower rates and a more efficient customer experience, the company focused on originating and funding mortgage loans. In April 2021, Agora Lending was acquired by Upstart, an AI lending platform, to expand Upstart's offerings into the mortgage market. As a result, Agora Lending's operations have been integrated into Upstart, and the company is now inactive as a standalone entity.
