Bucks County Industrial Development Authority

The Bucks County Industrial Development Authority (BCIDA) is a public authority incorporated in 1967 under the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority Act. Its primary mission is to foster business and industrial growth and to combat unemployment within Bucks County. BCIDA achieves this by serving as a conduit for businesses and non-profit organizations to access low-interest financing through tax-exempt and taxable bonds and loans. These funds are used for various capital projects, including land and building acquisition, construction, and the purchase of machinery and equipment, thereby encouraging companies to expand, relocate, or remain in the county.
