Founded in 2002, Altius Associates was a leading global private markets advisory and fund placement firm. The company provided specialized advisory services to institutional investors, such as pension funds, insurance companies, and endowments, on their private equity and real assets investments. In August 2016, Altius Associates was acquired by Fitch Group and its operations were integrated into Fitch Ratings' business to form a new private equity fund and manager research and ratings group. The Altius Associates brand is no longer in use.
