ActivTrades has restructured its group by transferring ownership of its Bahamas and Portuguese broker units to a new Guernsey-based holding company. This change has resulted in a significant drop in reported overseas revenue for the UK entity, reflecting a 48% decrease from the previous year. The restructuring has raised questions about the true nature of client activity as the UK entity now accounts for 82% of group turnover, up from 69%. Overall, group turnover fell to £33.1 million, with profits also declining. Despite this, client-facing metrics showed positive trends, including an increase in new potential clients and net deposits.
