General Electric Credit Union

Founded in 1954, General Electric Credit Union (GECU) is a member-owned financial institution that operates on a not-for-profit basis. Its mission is to provide its members with competitive financial products and services, returning profits to them in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings dividends, and fewer fees. Originally established to serve General Electric employees, it has since expanded its field of membership to include employees of partner companies and individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in the Greater Cincinnati area.
