FMDQ Group

FMDQ Group is a multifaceted organization dedicated to revolutionizing the Nigerian financial markets. Originally established as FMDQ OTC PLC in 2013 by the Financial Markets Dealers Association, its mission was to create an efficient, transparent, and globally competitive over-the-counter (OTC) market for fixed income and currency trading. The Group has since evolved into a vertically integrated FMI, comprising FMDQ Exchange (for listing, quoting, and trading), FMDQ Clear (a central counterparty for clearing and settlement), FMDQ Depository (a central securities depository), and FMDQ Private Markets (for private capital). Its core focus is on organizing and adding value to the debt capital, foreign exchange, and derivatives markets in Nigeria.
