Emirates Digital Wallet LLC was established as a joint venture by 16 UAE national banks, with the support of the Central Bank of the UAE. The company's mission is to drive the UAE's digital transformation by creating a cashless society. Its flagship product, 'klip', is a digital cash service that allows users to make and receive payments, store money, and transfer funds instantly and securely through a mobile app, aiming to replace the use of physical cash for everyday transactions.
