Founded on June 10, 1999, as a Private Financial Fund (Fondo Financiero Privado or F.F.P.), the institution evolved and in 2014 received a license from the Bolivian Financial System Supervisory Authority (ASFI) to operate as a Small and Medium Enterprise Bank (Banco Pyme).
