Founded in 1889, E.L. & C. Baillieu was one of Australia's oldest and most respected stockbroking firms, providing wealth management, corporate finance, and advisory services to private and institutional clients. In 2020, the firm was fully acquired by Insignia Financial Ltd (formerly IOOF Holdings Ltd) and was subsequently merged with Ord Minnett, another prominent Australian wealth management group. The combined entity now operates under the Ord Minnett brand, continuing a legacy of providing private wealth advice, portfolio management, corporate finance, and institutional equities services across Australia.
