Founded in 2017 in Toronto, Canada, Doorr created a modern, cloud-native software platform designed to streamline the mortgage application process for brokers, lenders, and borrowers. The platform digitized the entire journey, from application submission to closing, aiming to reduce manual work and improve efficiency. In October 2020, global financial technology leader Finastra acquired Doorr to integrate its point-of-sale technology into Finastra's wider suite of mortgage and lending solutions, enhancing Finastra's offerings in the Canadian market and beyond. The Doorr team and technology have since been absorbed into Finastra's lending business unit.
