Coindash was an Israel-based startup that developed a platform aimed at simplifying cryptocurrency trading for mainstream users. Its core features included portfolio management tools, crypto-asset tracking, and social trading functionalities that allowed users to copy the trades of successful investors. The company gained significant public attention in July 2017 when its Initial Coin Offering (ICO) was targeted by a hacker, who altered the contribution address and stole approximately $7.4 million in Ether. Coindash later compensated the affected investors. In November 2018, the social trading giant eToro acquired Coindash, integrating its team and technology into eToro's blockchain subsidiary, eToroX.
