Coastal Area District Development Authority

The Coastal Area Development Authority (CADA) is a statutory body constituted by the Government of Karnataka, India, under the CADA Act 2012. Its primary mission is to ensure the integrated, planned, and coordinated development of the coastal zone, which includes the districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada. The authority focuses on promoting key sectors such as tourism, fisheries, infrastructure, environment, heritage, and industrial development to improve the quality of life for the region's inhabitants.
