Cheshire Neighbours Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution that offers accessible savings accounts and affordable loans to its community. Originally formed in 2004 as the Winsford & District Credit Union, it has since grown through mergers with other local credit unions to serve a wider area across Cheshire. As a co-operative, its mission is to promote thrift and provide financial services to its members, with any surplus profits returned to members through dividends or reinvested to improve services, rather than being paid to external shareholders.
