The company distinguished itself by systematically incorporating ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and energy transition factors into its sovereign risk assessments and ratings. It provided data, research, and advisory services to institutional investors and asset managers to help them make more informed investment decisions. In June 2019, the company was acquired by Vigeo Eiris, which itself was later acquired by Moody's Corporation and integrated into its Moody's ESG Solutions division.
