B.Protocol is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol designed to enhance the stability and capital efficiency of lending platforms. It provides a backstop liquidity mechanism that allows a community of keepers to purchase liquidated collateral at a discount, preventing cascading failures and reducing the risk for both lenders and borrowers. The protocol was founded by Yaron Velner, former CTO of Kyber Network, with the mission of creating a more robust and secure DeFi ecosystem by improving the liquidation process.
