Formerly the investment management division of Australian financial services giant AMP Limited, AMP Capital was a specialized global investment manager with a strong focus on real assets, particularly real estate and infrastructure, alongside fixed income, equities, and multi-asset solutions. Following a strategic review, AMP divested its major AMP Capital assets throughout 2022 and 2023. The Australian real estate and domestic infrastructure equity business was sold to Dexus, while the international infrastructure equity business was acquired by DigitalBridge. The remaining capabilities have been absorbed into the parent AMP Limited structure, and the AMP Capital brand has been retired.
