Allied Insurance

Founded in 1929 in Des Moines, Iowa, Allied Insurance Group was a property and casualty insurance company that operated through a network of independent agents. The company was acquired by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in 1998. Allied offered a range of products including personal auto, homeowners, and commercial business insurance. In 2020, Nationwide retired the Allied brand, merging all its policies, services, and operations under the Nationwide name to create a more unified national brand.
