AESA Ratings (Agencia Española de Calificación de Riesgos, S.A.) is a credit rating agency (CRA) established in 2017 and registered with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) since 2018. Headquartered in Madrid, Spain, the company's mission is to provide independent, rigorous, and objective credit opinions, primarily for Spanish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-cap companies. By increasing market transparency and facilitating access to financing, AESA RATINGS aims to support the growth and development of the business fabric within Spain and Europe.
